Yajur Veda
Yajur Veda:
-Veda of 'Yajus' or Fomulae.
-Consists of 'mantras' (hymns) for the purpose of recitation & rules to the followed during sacrifices, like 'Rajasuya' & 'Vijapeya'.
-Taught by a school of teachers called 'Taittriyans'.
-Divided into two parts:-
--Krishna Yajurveda - contains hymns 2 prose commentaries.
--Shukla Yajurveda - Only hymns.
