Palas
PALAS:
-Founded by Gopala in 750 A.D
-Gopala was an ardent Buddhist, he built monastery at Odantapuri.
-Dharmapala the later king of Pala founded the Sompur Vihara & the Vikramasila Mahavihara.
-Dharmapala gave 200 villages as a grant to revive the Nalanda University.
-The last king of the dynasty was Madanapala.
