-He was the father of Bharata the first Vedic king of India.
-The Vishnu Purana and Bhagavat Purana describe Rishab as an incarnation of Narayana.
-Parsvanatha was the 23rd Tirthankara.
-Mahavira was the 24th Tirthankara.
