Bimbisara:

-Haryanka dynasty was founded by Bimbisara (or his father Hemajit, acc. to some sources) with its capital at Rajgir.

-He was a contemporary of Buddha.

-Conquered Anga & entered into matrimonial alliance with kosala.

-Ajatashatru succeeded by killing his father, Bimbisara.

-Udayin succeeded Ajatashatru & founded the city of Pataliputra (Patna) on the confluence of the Ganga & Son.
