Art and Architecture of the Delhi Sultanate:

Qutb-ud-Aibak:-

-'Quwwat-ul-Islam'mosque-raised on a Hindu Temple. It was the first mosque in India which built on Indo-Islamic pattern.

-He built Qutub Minar in the memory of Sheikh Qutb- ud-din Bakhtiyar Kaki.

-Aibak could complete only one storey, other 4 storeys were built by Iltutmish.

-Firoz Tughlaq repaired it and built Five Storeys.

-Sikandar lodhi also repaired it.

Alauddin Khalji:-

-He Built-

--Alai Darwaza
--Siri City
--Mahal Hazaar Satoon
--Jamaat Khana Mosque

Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq:-

-He built third city of Delhi - Tughlaqabad

Mohammad Bin Tughlaq:-

-Built Jahanpanah, fourth city of Delhi.

Firoz Shah Tughlaq:-
Built Firozabad, fifth city of Delhi and Hauz Khas as a Pleasure resort.
