SFURTI (Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries)

Ministry of MSME Govt.of India has introduced SFURTI (Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries) programme all over India to generate employment in rural areas.

The main object of scheme is to provide employment to rural artisans and train up the rural citizens who have engaged in, to improve their economic conditions with the help of SFURTI programme.

In view of the regenerating the Traditional Industries and eradicating the unemployment problem, the Govt.of India started the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI).

Khadi and V.I.is one of the Traditional Industries,hence the Govt. of India have taken up this programme and chosen efficient institutions of khadi by which the protection of Traditional industries and can be regenerated.

Karnataka Khadi Gramodhyoga Samyukta Sangh(Fed.) and Bengeri Hubli have been chosen by the KVIC to implement the above programme.

The scheme has been introduced by Belur Khadi Cluster.

The total fund provided by Govt. of India throu KVIC on the basis of action plan submitted by Implementing agency
